Meet The Didiers!

We have 4 kids (8, 6, 6, 18 months). We live in Woodward where Michael is a veterinarian and Kinzie stays home and owns a basketball gym for small camps and trainings for local kids. We enjoy playing outside together, family movie nights, fishing, working on the farm, or playing games around the table.

DPA Blog Update

Did you know that we have a blog? We cover lots of topics throughout the year that relate to adoption and parenting. We hope you find it entertaining and informative. Our most recent post discusses the process of how birth mothers choose the adoptive parents for their baby. We think you will enjoy reading more about the journey and how our staff members are here to help expectant women along the way.

Birth Mother Retreat

We are having our annual Birth Mother Retreat in October. This weekend, which many birth mothers describe as a highlight of their year, provides us a chance to support birth moms as they process their feelings about their adoption and just gives them a chance to get away and spend time with other women who have placed a child for adoption. It costs about $300 per birth mother to put on the retreat and if you are interested in making a donation in any amount to support the event, you can do so by clicking the button below.

Meet Aly!

Aly joined DPA in January 2021 as an adoption specialist intern but transitioned to working in the counseling center as a therapist in June 2021. As the daughter of someone who was adopted at birth, she is passionate about the joy, restoration, and beauty that the Lord can bring forth through adoption...

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV

Adoption Awareness Month is in November and we have BIG plans to celebrate but we need your help to make it a success. What do we need exactly? We need photos, videos, or stories that show how adoption has impacted your life. If you want to participate or just want to learn more about what we need, please email Sarah Baird and she will help you out. Thanks in advance!

Coffee Talk With DQ - Brittany Herndon

Last week, in the third installment of "Coffee Talk with DQ", Brittany Herndon, one of our Adoption Specialists/Therapists sat down with David to talk about one of our favorite events of the year - Birth Mother Retreat!. Brittany shares more about what goes on during the weekend and we discuss ways you can get involved as well. Click here to see the recording of the interview.
