Aly joined DPA in January 2021 as an adoption specialist intern but transitioned to working in the counseling center as a therapist in June 2021. As the daughter of someone who was adopted at birth, she is passionate about the joy, restoration, and beauty that the Lord can bring forth through adoption. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish, Aly earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma and is excited to serve individuals and families in the counseling center.

When did you start working for DPA? 
I began as an intern in January 2021 and started a full time position six months later in June.

What is your favorite thing about working for DPA?
I love how focused DPA is on keeping Christ at the center of all things! It is lifegiving and inspiring to work at an agency that is so gospel-oriented.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
"For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

What are some of your hobbies?
Anything outside! I also love reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
